Jinlei Drums believes that an ideal drum shell should faithfully preserve the natural sound of wood. This is why we use stress-free techniques to craft hollowed and single-ply shells. Traditional plywood or single-ply shells are often formed under high temperatures or steam, which applies stress to the wood, compromising its original state.

To achieve the ultimate drum sound, Jinlei’s KURINUKI series adopts innovative techniques that enable stress-free drum shell formation. We also minimize the risk of deformation over time by implementing thorough drying and seasoning processes.
