JINLEI ships musical instruments worldwide. The following charges are per order, not per item or unit.

Order Value and Shipping Charges

The US$500 threshold is based on the merchandise total after coupons and other discounts, excluding shipping and taxes. Shipping charges are per order, not per item or unit.

Orders below US$500

  • Bachi and/or Katsugi straps only: US$10 shipping per order.
  • Orders containing any other product: US$30 shipping per order.

Orders of US$500 or More

  • Non-oversized items: Standard shipping to your delivery address is free.
  • Oversized items: We cover the main international sea-freight leg to the destination port. Transportation from the destination port to your delivery address is not included and is payable separately by the customer.

Import duties and taxes are not included.

Size and Weight Limits

A non-oversized package must have a combined length and girth of no more than 320 cm and an actual weight of no more than 30 kg. Combined length and girth is calculated as length + 2 × width + 2 × height, measured using the outer packaging, with the longest side treated as the length. Packages exceeding either limit are considered oversized.

Air Freight

If you require air freight, please contact JINLEI before ordering. JINLEI will provide a quote based on your delivery address. Air freight is not included in the free-shipping offer.

United States Partner Pickup Warehouses

The locations below may be used for separately confirmed logistics or pickup arrangements. Their listing does not extend the oversized-item free sea-freight offer beyond the destination port. Port-to-warehouse and onward delivery costs for oversized shipments are not included in that offer.

Important: These locations are partner logistics and pickup facilities. They are not JINLEI retail stores or product showrooms.

Customers must not visit either warehouse without first receiving pickup authorization and an appointment confirmation from JINLEI.

International Sea Freight and Onward Delivery

For oversized orders of US$500 or more after discounts, JINLEI covers the main international sea-freight leg to the destination port. Transportation from that port to the customer’s final address, including any separately arranged warehouse routing, is not included and is payable by the customer. Import duties and taxes are not included.

For non-oversized orders meeting the same threshold, standard shipping to the customer’s delivery address is included.

Options for Separately Arranged U.S. Warehouse Shipments

The following options apply when a warehouse arrangement has been separately confirmed; they do not change the free-shipping coverage above.

  1. Warehouse PickupThe customer or an authorized representative may collect the order from the assigned warehouse after JINLEI confirms that the shipment is ready for release and approves the pickup appointment.
  2. Customer-Arranged CarrierThe customer may arrange a local freight company or courier to collect the shipment after providing the required carrier and authorization information.
  3. Assisted Final-Mile DeliveryJINLEI may help the customer obtain a quotation from a suitable local logistics provider. The customer is responsible for accepting and paying the quoted final-mile delivery and any optional service charges.

Warehouse Pickup Requirements

Before going to a warehouse, customers must:

  • Wait for written confirmation from JINLEI that the goods have arrived, completed the required processing, and are ready for release.
  • Confirm the assigned warehouse, pickup date and time, order number, release number, and authorized pickup person.
  • Provide any identification, vehicle, carrier, or driver information requested by JINLEI or the warehouse.
  • Confirm the number of packages, packaged dimensions, total weight, and whether a pallet, forklift, liftgate, loading assistance, or additional labor is required.
  • Use a vehicle with sufficient space and payload capacity and bring any straps, blankets, or other equipment required to transport the goods safely.
  • Pay any final-mile delivery, special handling, waiting, re-delivery, after-hours, or storage charges for which the customer is responsible.

Warehouse operating hours and pickup availability may change.

The warehouse telephone numbers are provided for confirmed shipment coordination only. Customers should contact JINLEI first regarding products, pricing, order status, showroom visits, or pickup arrangements.

If the customer or the customer’s carrier does not collect the goods within the confirmed pickup or free-storage period, additional storage or handling charges may apply. JINLEI will communicate any known deadline or applicable charge when available.

Inspection at Pickup or Delivery

Before accepting the shipment, inspect the exterior packaging for visible damage and confirm the number of packages.

Photograph all sides of the packaging and, where permitted, record any visible shortage or damage on the pickup or delivery document before signing.

Keep the protective packaging until the goods have been moved to a safe, dry location and inspected.

If damage or a shortage is discovered, contact JINLEI promptly at shop@jinlei-music.com and provide the order number, photographs, packaging details, and any relevant carrier or warehouse documentation.

Other Countries and Locations

JINLEI works with warehouses and logistics providers in selected locations.

If no partner warehouse is available near the customer, JINLEI may help identify a suitable final-mile delivery option after the shipment reaches the destination country.

Availability, routing, costs, and service conditions must be confirmed for each order.

  • US$499 after discounts, Bachi and/or Katsugi straps only: US$10 shipping per order.
  • US$499 after discounts, containing any other product: US$30 shipping per order.
  • US$500 or US$501 after discounts, non-oversized: Free standard shipping to the delivery address; taxes are not included.
  • US$500 or US$501 after discounts, oversized: Free main-leg sea freight to the destination port. Port-to-address delivery and taxes are not included.

Duties and Taxes

Import duties, taxes, and government charges imposed by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility unless JINLEI expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Requirements vary by country and shipment. Customers should consult the relevant customs authority for current requirements.
